The macaron,
made by hand.
Small-batch French macarons, baked to order. A crisp shell, a tender center, and a filling worth slowing down for.

Two shells, one quiet moment.
A French macaron is a delicate sandwich of almond-and-meringue shells with a soft filling pressed between them. Not to be confused with the coconut macaroon — this is the smooth, footed, jewel-colored cookie of Parisian pâtisserie.
Each one is whipped, piped, rested and baked by hand — a small ritual that gives it that signature crisp-then-tender bite.
